Fuel Delivery Driver
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely, efficiently, and courteously deliver petroleum products (heating oil, propane, K-1) to residential and commercial customers.
- Operate a company vehicle in all weather conditions, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor, acting as a positive representative of M.W. Sewall.
- Manage delivery routes and schedules effectively without close supervision.
- Participate in a fair, rotating on-call schedule for emergency deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Maine CDL Class A or B license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Proven ability to work independently and reliably.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Trustworthy, professional, and friendly.
- Flexible schedule, with the ability to work Saturdays during the peak heating season.

Customer Service Representative

This role is perfect for a thoughtful and friendly person who enjoys building lasting relationships with customers, both over the phone and in person. We’re looking for someone who can provide excellent, personal support while handling a variety of tasks related to our customers’ fuel and heating needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Customer Interactions: Handle customer inquiries and address concerns related to their fuel and heating needs.
- Provide In-Person Support: Greet and assist walk-in customers, ensuring they receive friendly and helpful service.
- Drive Business Growth: Follow up with customers to resolve issues and identify new business opportunities.
- Process Orders: Accurately process inquiries and complete necessary forms to ensure seamless service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or support role, including managing phone calls, is helpful but not required.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Attitude: A positive, can-do mindset and a true team-player spirit.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the fuel delivery or heating industry is a plus but not required.

Service Technician
A Service Technician at M.W. Sewall is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems and propane, oil, and kerosene appliances. This role requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure our customers’ warmth and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install and connect a variety of HVAC and heating equipment, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and water heaters.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on customer equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heating and cooling systems and perform necessary repairs. This includes a 24/7 on-call rotation for emergency service.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, explaining the work being done, answering questions, and providing excellent service.
- Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork, including work orders, service tickets, and installation forms.
- Safety: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as local and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Other: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
