No Heat? Check These Common Issues
-
Check Your Thermostat Settings
Ensure your thermostat is set to "Heat" mode and the temperature is set higher than the current room temperature. Check if the thermostat display is working and has power. If you have a programmable thermostat, verify the schedule settings and battery level. -
Is Your Fuel Tank Empty?
Check your fuel gauge level. If you're running low or out of fuel, contact us immediately for emergency delivery. Running out of fuel can cause system problems and may require a restart by a qualified technician. -
Reset Your System
Locate the reset button on your heating system and press it once. Wait 30 seconds before pressing it again. If the system doesn't restart after two attempts, call for service as continuing to reset may damage your system. -
Check Your Circuit Breaker
Look for tripped circuit breakers in your electrical panel. If you find one, switch it fully to the OFF position before switching back to ON. If it trips again immediately, call for service as this indicates a potential electrical problem. -
Check Your Air Filter
A clogged air filter can reduce airflow and cause your system to shut down. Inspect your filter and replace it if it's dirty. Make sure the filter is properly installed with the arrows pointing in the correct direction. -
