Which Fuel Delivery Plan is Right for You?

Automatic vs Will Call

Benefits of Automatic Delivery

We Track Your Fuel Levels

With our degree day tracking and automated software we can predict your usage based on your house and previous usage to formulate when you will need a delivery and will automatically schedule a refill for you.

Scheduling

Deliveries are made automatically.

Best for

Busy families, seasonal residents, and anyone who wants to "set it and forget it" for the winter.

Priority During Inclement Weather

Our Automatic Delivery customers receive priority scheduling during heavy storms, extended cold snaps, and severe weather events. We ensure our most vulnerable customers are taken care of first when delivery conditions are challenging.

Remote Propane Monitoring

Because standby generators pull propane inconsistently, we cannot track your fuel levels using traditional usage patterns. To maintain automatic delivery and peace of mind, we recommend a remote propane monitor. This allows us to track your fuel levels in real-time and ensure your generator is ready when you need it.

Tracking your fuel levels

With will call service, you are responsible for monitoring your own tank levels. We recommend checking your gauge regularly and contacting us once it reaches 25%. This 1/4-tank buffer ensures you have enough fuel to last until our next available delivery truck is in your neighborhood.

Will Call

You Set the ScheduleYou

You decide exactly when you want a delivery based on your own gauge reading.

Tracking Your Fuel Levels

We ask that you call when your tank is between 1/4 and 3/8 full. This allows us enough time to get a truck into your neighborhood.

Best For

Supplememental / Secondary Heat Users

Homeowners who primarily burn wood, pellets, or use heat pumps and only use oil or propane as a secondary backup heat source. Because their fuel usage fluctuates drastically, automated algorithms can't accurately predict their tank level.

Budget-Conscious / Pay-As-You-Go Customers

Customers who prefer to manage their cash flow by ordering fuel only when they are ready to purchase a specific dollar amount or gallon count (e.g., minimum order size) rather than receiving automatic deliveries on a regular schedule.

Part-Time Residents & Seasonal Properties

Owners of summer cottages, camps, or vacation homes where fuel consumption is non-existent for long periods during the year.

Close Gauge Monitors

People who regularly check their own tank gauge and prefer being in complete control of their ordering schedule.

At M.W. Sewall we strive to provide reliable and on time deliveries.
