For those that purchase Downside Insurance
- You always know the maximum price per gallon you will be charged—if the daily price is higher than your “Cap Price” you will pay the lower price!
- If the daily price is below your “Cap Price” you pay the lower price.
Risks
- If you do a Prepay Fixed program (with no Downside Insurance) and the price drops like it has these past couple of months your price will NOT drop. It stays the same for the duration of your contract.
Propane
Propane is available both by pre-paying and budgeting. You enjoy the lowest price available by pre-paying with cash or check or by signing up for the budget plan and paying via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Currently there is no Downside Insurance available for propane.
